Having Problems Loging on?
Please contact Steve Johnston at: s.johnston@burychurch.bury.sch.uk if you require help with accessing the Learning Platform. Please do not contact the main office about Learning Platform issues.
NOTE: If you are having trouble accessing other online systems such as Kerboodle or Yacapaca please contact the relevant subject teacher. I am unable to provide access details or technical help for these systems.
No User Account - Please provide your FULL NAME, NAME OF YOUR CHILD and the FORM GROUP they are in. These details will be checked against our system and your account details will be issued.
No Password - If you have never received a password for your account please provide your FULL NAME, NAME OF YOUR CHILD and the FORM GROUP they are in. These details will be checked against our system and your account details will be issued.
Forgotten Password - Please provide your FULL NAME, NAME OF YOUR CHILD and the FORM GROUP they are in. These details will be checked against our system and your password will be issued. NOTE: If you have changed your password from the default one issued you will need to make it clear your password needs resetting. We do not keep records of passwords that have been changed.
What is it?
Our school's portal will give you a personalised view of information and resources relevant to you and your child/ children, therefore helping to improve communication to and from the school. This portal will also help people to collaborate more effectively using 'Interest Spaces' to share information, ideas and documents within a group.
How do I access the KLP?
To access the KLP you will need your unique Username and Password. You should have received these via two separate letters from the school. If you are a student then your account should have been given to you in an ICT lesson.
To log onto the system follow the link below and enter your account details when asked.
I dont have an account!
Parents - If you know you should have an account then please contact Mr Johnston by email.
Students - If you have not been told your account details please see Mr Johnston.
How will it benefit me?
The following list gives examples of the kind of information that we expect to be available to you by using the portal:
• A Noticeboard - containing general school news, useful web links, school events calendar and useful documents.
• News that is relevant specifically to you.
• Information held on your child/children by the school e.g.: Behaviour record (positive and negative), end of key stage assessment information, and although not currently available we hope to have termly assessment available to you also.
• Your child's/children's attendance record.
• When the system is fully up and running you will have access to homework and assignments that have been set by teachers through the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
• Your child's/ children's e-portfolio of their best work.
• Shared Interest Spaces that you are a member of.
